The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) is accepting nominations for its 2027 Associate Member Council (AMC). Associate members interested in taking on a leadership role within the organization have until September 4 to submit their nominations.

This election cycle will fill six council seats, offering members an opportunity to help shape NAPA programs and represent the interests of the association’s Associate member community.
An Opportunity to Help Guide the Industry
The Associate Member Council serves as a voice for companies that support the asphalt pavement industry through products, equipment, technology, and professional services.
Council members work closely with NAPA to:
- Share industry knowledge and perspectives.
- Help guide discussions on important issues.
- Identify strategic priorities.
- Support programs that benefit Associate members.
- Contribute to the association’s long-term initiatives.
Serving on the council also gives members the opportunity to build stronger relationships with industry professionals while helping influence the future direction of the organization.
Leadership Development Opportunities
The Associate Member Council also provides a pathway for members who are interested in leadership positions within NAPA.
Council members may advance through officer roles, including:
- Secretary
- Vice Chair
- Chair
- Immediate Past Chair
These leadership positions allow members to take a more active role in supporting the association and representing the needs of the asphalt pavement industry.
